hello guys ive been told fittin disco 300tdi axles on a 90 is not easy ish lol what would be the best way of doin this swop ???
-
Who ever has told you that is talking rubbish, they fit straight on, no issues at all, done loads of disco to 90 axle awaps. one hour job tops
-
As above, no issues, Can be done quite quickly but as always with landys allow time for rusty/seized bits n pieces
-
Would having the narrower hocky sticks cause any probs?

Nope, fit disco ones.......... job sorted, the only slight issue i see with fitting disco 300 axles, is the rubber donut on the rear diff, but that can be sorted..!

PLus you end up with 2 steering dampers. I have to be honest I think the axle mounted damper on the Disco works better, despite the one on the drag link moving further (you'd expect more damping) I find I get wheel flutter without the one on the axle.
