hi there everyone i want to know what up with my heater on a Lreg 200tdi 1993  some days it works and some days it dond  the day it does not work and you bang it at side it starts working or you faceing down hill it works or go over a bump it works their no air con on this disco  many thanks  you can email me at ianclarke29@hotmail.co.uk

Do you mean the fan, or the heater blowing hot or cold?

 it could be stuck brushes in the heater motor had this on my 300 tdi . remove the cowling under the glove box and theres 3 philips screws holding the motor into the box when removed the brushes are visable spray well with wd40 and see if it frees them up when done refit is the reverse

No you won't. Yours is a 200 and his is a 300. Different heater assemblies. You will be sorely disappointed!

On a 200 you can't get the motor out in situ. Most people just get a secondhand heater unit and through the old one away.

You have to take the dash out (not as scary as it sounds) to get at the heater and by the time you have done that you might as well replace the whole unit.

on my 200 i had mine would work intermitently only one 1 and 2 but would always work on number 3 pointing at the resistor, never bothered me that much bth
