Ive found a big hole in the floor of my rangie just in front of the drivers seat! It is directly over the sill structure and the sill is full of iron oxide and crud am thinking of biting the bullet and getting the job done properly and completly replace the sill. My question is what do i need to order to repair this is it the inner sill or the outer sill or both and does it include the foot wide floor piece that links in with the transmission tunnel? I also need to replace the rear crossmember. i have the replacement in the barn ready to change but any hints and tips on how to do it?
Cheers for any help.

[!Expletive Deleted!]. Mines getting to that stage so want to get on top of it. Tho there is a massive long list of jobs to do ontop of that, but if i can get that done it will be a massive psycological boost and spur me on to finish all those niggling problems!

That would be the outer sill. it is approx 6-8 inches wide coming into the floor area, you will see a join if you remove the carpet
It is not an easy job, research it well before you chop it up.

Im thinking i might let an expert do it rather than me so its done properly if the cost is not too exhorbitant!
