Give your local fuel supplier a try, Rock Oil in Warrington used to give them away if you only wanted one and asked nicely.

We have a couple in the yard at work - I'll ask the boss if they are going spare. Could always sneek into yard under cover of darkness and borrow them

Dependant on where he lives in Leeds, has he tried the smaller suppliers like the one at the end of Fleet Lane (http://uk.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?client=public&X=438000.999997885&Y=428500.947601965&width=500&height=300&gride=437999.999997885&gridn=428399.947601965&srec=0&coordsys=gb&db=grid&addr1=&addr2=&addr3=&pc=&advanced=&local=&localinfosel=&kw=&inmap=&table=&ovtype=&zm=1&scale=25000) in Woodlesford.
Or Bayford(or is it Thrust?) at Castleford (http://uk.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?client=public&X=442500.999998251&Y=426500.946700509&width=500&height=300&gride=442599.999998251&gridn=426299.946700509&srec=0&coordsys=gb&db=grid&addr1=&addr2=&addr3=&pc=&advanced=&local=&localinfosel=&kw=&inmap=&table=&ovtype=&zm=1&scale=25000) on Lock Lane.
I'm surprised that no small 'backstreet garage' (for want of a better expression) has any they want to get rid of
Alternatively, why not try a 'Pikey' site after they've been moved on, there's bound to be one there. Just mind where you're treading
At least he can collect the LPG cylinders and collect the deposits on them!

We must dispose of hundreds every month, all 200lt sized metal drums which have contained either resin or solvents. How suitable they'd be for cooking in not sure but can ask :?:
