this might be a silly question but will my landy have some sort of Vin stamped on the chassis? it has the plate pop rivitted to the pedal box! its an ex military 110 the normal military data tag witch is normaly on the drivers seatbox is missing! so will it have something stamped on the chassis somewere?

Should be in the usual place - where the steering box bolts go through the chassis on R/H side.
Hope this helps

Are you sure it's military.......sorry to sound thick but i never seen a military rover with a vin plate on the pedal box. Usually they only have the large id/contract info plate on the drivers side of the seat box.

Mine is ex military and it has both the military plate on the seat box and the vin number plate on the m/cylinder.
