Title: pc help please
Post by: bobtailed disco on April 22, 2010, 15:04:20: my laptop has just started playing now i cant get online on it al all now.
It just bring up a warning saying vista antimailware 2010 (un registered version)
is this a virus? It says there are 31 infections. I have run my anti virus but it cant find anything.

What do i do next?

It now has warning at the bottom of the screen saying system hyjack, now it says virus intrusion

help!!!!

One you have done that I would download

Malwarebytes Anti Malware and it should clean up your system.

i done system restore and took it back 2 days. Couldn't get on here to check for your advice :'( it kept rebooting internet explorer :'(

I am running MS Security Essentials and it got past it, and i ran the scan 3 times :'(

Then remove security essentials - more than one scanning program will hog system resources.
Make sure you periodically run malwarebytes anti-malware - it's just about as good as it gets, and
it's free.

As Antivirus, I also run Avast.

Or you could just get rid of Windoze and install Linux...... :D I have and it's brilliant!
