Title: Front wheel knocking

alrite folks,
         i have a knocking around me front off side wheel area. Does it once for every revolution of the wheel. doesn't do it when i'm going round a corner or when i lift the wheel and spin it by hand. i no the pic is a disco, bit i do have a 1990 90 200tdi now.

Any help will be greatly received.

Well it may sound stupid, but have you checked the wheelnuts? And what about the wheel bearing?

have you checked to make sure there aren't any stones trapped in the tread or a mis shaped tyre.

Just a simple thought
