Title: lt77 oil ?

hello guys what oil should i put in my gear box its a 90 lt77 and what should i put in my tran box

ATF  in the LT77, or Difflock do a special ATF that gets rave reviews.  Good old smelly EP90 in the transfer box.

Yeap ... transmission fluid in the gearbox and gear oil in the transmission box  :dance: :huh:

I'm sure Land Rover only did this so it makes it easier to work out where the leaks are coming from!

thanks lads was goin to top up and i think the bloke who fit my new box put same oil in both of them as the atf me bruv got me is red and thinker then the oil in my gear box what u boys think ??

dose the stuff in the gearbox stink?  EP90 has a distinctive smell. Unfortunately one of my dogs loves it and will cover himself with it given any opportunity.

yes it do smell a bit so am i rite that its the wrong oil in me gear box and oh no lol bless it dogs will be dogs
