Used to have KC's on my Chevette years (& years) ago.
Very long range & a pure spot light. I think mine ran (from a dodgy memory)at 150watts!!
They used to get very, very hot to the touch though.
They've got (or used to have) a rubber anti-shock mount as well surrounding the mounting bolt

i've got a pair there very good can roast a rabbit at 500 yards normaly £120 a pair so youve found  a very good deal
-
Good for melting the number plates of cars in front when your at the lights.

Very long range
you're not kidding  we had one fitted with a handle and ran on a 12v alarm gel battery we could sit on the hill above Llanberis and shine it on trees on the other side of the valley( and see the beam maybe 2 miles)
Though the spread wasn't that good the power was amazing . :D :D 8)

make sure you use the wright wires and relays because the use BIG amps and you dont want to set your truck on fire.
-
I'm waiting for an email back to check on shipping costs - may not work out much cheaper at the end of the day.
6 lights for £50 seems like a good buy.
-
very good let us know what shipping is like i might have to get some as well
-
just had a reply back $70 for shipping thats about £36.50
so 4 lights $60, shipping $70 - $130
£67 for 4 x 130w lights - tempting
-
go for it i think i will wheres my piggy bank :(bigwicked):

There's no mention of covers. If my memory serves me right the daylighters come with nice covers.
They are nice.

Just ordered a set of 4 on buy now.
$60 for 4 x 130w
$70 shipping via air mail 4-10 day delivery.
Now to buy some wire and relays, think I may put one relay for each bulb to play safe.

The eBay advert says '' KC Style'' They look different
to the ones fitted to mine, Still look very nice tho.
Mine also have yellow covers with a smiley face on them.

check the price includes import duty or you might get a nasty surprise on delivery when the carrier asks for payment
-
Had already thought of that - not sure if it does or not. When I've imported things in the past it's been a bit hit and miss as to whether get stung for it or not. I think a lot depends on the description on the delivery note.

If you can get the sender to put "promotion material only - no comercial value" on the desctription ticket, the vat man might not catch you, but i didn't say that

i got all my ones from the states you even get the wiring loom with most companys from the states alot better price then ours over here. but you have to ask them to place them down as a gift at a lower price are you get done for tax and checking which turns out to be more money. and alot if customs get on to them watch out for custom duty. if you which i can let you know about a place i used will have to look them up and they will do the sale the best way. but they r not kc i got some for my m8 range rover they where nice. but you can look to see which you like.

Matt Savage do the KC Daylighters, not sure on cost though. The ones on ebay do look nice

Lights turned up today.
posted in the States on the 22ns April so just over 2 weeks isn't bad.
The good news - no import duty - no handling costs
Now I just need to fit them (and buy a new alternator to cope with 830W)

Will look really good with those on top, will you have them in for Saturday
(Driffield) ?
