Well!

we call our Disco "Les Baty" because its what the numberplate makes up to - he has become a bit of a legend now, with his own facebook page!!!

We call our Range "Stella" because the first 4 letters and numbers on the number plate make up Beer, backwards!!!

Simple really! Why not name your car, gives it a bit of character!!!

My RR is called Penelope because she came home from the West Midlands on a car trailer, with the alarm screaming for "Heyalp! Heyalp!"(try saying it out loud ;)).  She's now turning into a real high-maintenance lady.

The old one was called Tarquin after a particularly revolting kid I once saw in Tesco.  My Tarquin was a bit of a thug who thought he was posh.

The XKR is 'the Cat', or 'Growler' as they (for some reason) call the icon on the badge

The C-Max is either 'Blue Van', or 'Van Morrison' (wasn't my choice of motor!)

Sadly the 110 departed in February, after years of nagging (bringing an end to 15+ years of landy ownership), but that was generally 'the truck'

Nice to see you are still hanging around on here Richard even though the 110 departed. I left the throng for 6 months and bought an MGB GT but I came to my senses and now have a little modified Jimny.

Blue is called blue 'cos it's blue.  The wife's TDi is "chuugaboom" after the car in wacky races.  My LSE doesn't really have a name.

I called my firsat car otl after its' registration and my second (another Escort) was "the shed", it was!

My cavlaier was "eyore", 1.7 N/A diesel, not quick off the mark.

My Micra, noddy car.  Well have you looked at one?

the wife's F|iesta was "Dennis" (the menace).

The wife of one of my ex-collegues had a Fiesta, she called it.. 'Esther' (not because it had a shiney grill (ie; big teeth), but because it rhymed.

Yes, I still pop in every so often, to have a look around, & still ride down past the end of your estate a couple of times per week (if you still live there) & run around the area between where I live & Wakefield

Please don't tell me it was a GT-V8, if so.....Damn!!!!, I missed it.

By The Way;
Did you see the little car-show up on Heath Common a fortnight ago?, up by 'The Kings Arms'?
I've got some photos, & have added them to my'www' (take the option of 'newest')

I call mine Mikey, cos the last 3 letters are MKE.

He's a temperate little git at times, (stopping suddenly and refusing to move), and i've recently painted it red and black.., in the same vein as Dennis the Menace, Minnie the Minx, (red and black jumper).

When he kicks off (it's a V8) he's loud and brash.
But he's a lot of fun to be with.

How sad am i, eh?

I call my series 3 "angus" because it used to be at the load lane fire plant and has a plate on it saying Hob-Angus and so its name is angus =) i could always call it foxy lady as the number plate is FXC (foxy) and the last letter is L (Lady)

I tend not to have names, the Freelander is "the big black bus" or just bus but Golf, Honda, Lotus and Fergie are un-named (Fergie is an abbreviation of Ferguson and generic to all T20 so does not count)
