Post by: Sammy_D on May 26, 2010, 19:03:48
Hey guys. My disco handbreak is really loose. Have to leave it in gear to stop it rolling away. How do i tighten the cable!

Get underneath and adjust it at the drum end, i believe.

May be wrong, as mine isn't standard (have an X-brake) and it's been a while . . . .  :?

On the rear of the drum there's a 17 mm hex bolt pritty much at the bottom adjust till it's about 4 clicks on the handbrake lever
when I did mine it took about 5 mins
