Title: Dastek power plugs

Hi all, im contemplating fitting one of these to my TD5 defender, Mines the earlier type that cant just be plugged in, Anyone use/have anythoughts on um ??

They work and do give you more power but power comes at the expense of fuel economy

i would have to disagree slightly there,

there will be a drop in mpg IF you drive it like its stolen, if you drive it sensibly you should see up to 10% fuel saving,

Hang on chippin them means you want the to be quicker so you always use the power except for the few days after you worked out how many mpg you got on ur last tank full
if I drive the disco like a loon I get 16-18 mpg
drivein normaly I get 22-23 mpg
the mrs driveing it she gets 26-28 mpg
