Post by: gtomo2 on June 27, 2010, 07:21:48
Well after the hassle of the last mot and the rear end rotting in front of my eyes thanks the the last owner having a speed boat and living near the sea. The rear quater of the chassic was rotting from the inside out and rear wheel arches rusting faster than i could re plate them i found the answer to my problems..

I like jags just put off that it's just a ford mondeo with a different body though. Least it won't have had it's bum dipped in the sea by previous owner.

It shouldn't put you off - the mondeo and X type are both great cars - we've owned several of both from new and never had any gripes.

Nice colour by the way - which engine is in it?

I worked for jaguar when the x type was released    Sure kept me busy in warranty dept   But in fairness after the "first of a kind " had there issues sorted they did become more user friendly, Very good value for money second hand nowdays

And yes think i am getting old. Anyone seen any leather driving gloves and were did i put that trilby hat. Ha ha
