hi,
as is well documented on these parts i like a car that is a machine not a computer however...
my old man has just bought a td5 commercial disco from a dealer with 12 months of warranty. it arrives in a week or so and apparently will relieve magic of doing heavy work    :afro:
when i am servicing it and when the warranty expires what would i be needing to look out for as potential problems? also is it worth investing in diagnostic stuff and if so which brands?
cheers all

As a pointer, when it arrives and you get the paperwork, check if the suspension airbags have been renewed as they do perish. I`m sure IIRC LR recommend you replace them every 5 years, and they ain`t too cheap.
Other glitches I`ve noticed are a leaky heater matrix thing-a-majig which can really burn your leg, when replacing the fuel filter under the rear wheel arch don`t forget to take off the little tap/valve on the bottom as they aren`t supplied with a new filter. Also, The fuhrer-in-law has had problems with the central locking and now has to use the key to open the drivers door.
