just a quick one will 300tdi seat fit straight into a 200tdi

not sure about the base frames but I have put 300 seats onto 200 base frames and they are great. you can swap them left to right also as the drivers side edge is normaly a bit stresed

Quite simply yes the 300's are more sturdier with the extra support running in the middle of the seat base.. Done it when I owned a 200.. Easy job
