If you`re only gonna use it for the odd camping trip why not just get another one of the folding ones?

Size of the grill really, its ok if you have 2-3 people but anymore than that and you spend most your time cooking and not eating and drinking.

Do the folding type not come in larger sizes? The other type you`ve pictured aren`t great quality........ My dad goes through a couple a year! I know, Iknow, he shouldn`t leave em out in the garden, but the last thing you wanna do after a good munch and a few shandies is clean a barbecue!

I really recommend one of

Very small, quite a bit of cooking space, and on a cold evening, low enought that once you've finished eating, pop it under your chair for a toasty warm seat ;)

I was in B&Q over the weekend. Noticed that all BBQ were on sale, so shop around as the "sheds" will be making space for Christmas decorations now.

make ur self or get one made that fits over spare wheel - I wild camp  a fair bit so this grill been good for both wood ember cooking and over BBQ coals... (never progressed it out of prototype stage though hence the dogey folding legs). Supposedly popular in south africa on expedition trucks.
