Title: Taking trim off the door
Post by: Sammy_D on August 16, 2010, 18:12:50
Hey guys. I m wanting to take my trim off the 4 doors and give a bit of a clean. There are two screws in the handel. Is it just a matter of prizing it off?

Thanks

i think the front doors have to have the speakers removed....? And yes just some little poppers that hold it on. Just run your hand around the door to check for anyother screws.
Been a while since ive taken one off.

Unbolt the long handles, 10mm socket I think, Philips screw behind door release and a long flat headed screwdriver to release the trim clips, be prepared for a few to snap!
Speakers can stay on the door card, just unplug them when you've got the card off.

Don't worry - cheap and easy to find on ebay.

even though I try and take care when ever I take door card off and put back on they never seem quite the same again  maybe its just that I notice the all flaws when putting it back on that I previously didn't notice.

I have just took the back door card off. 2x 10mm in the handle, 1 x screw behind the door opener, remove the twin subwoofer & the card is just clips that pull out. To be honest i broke most of them but they are cheap on ebay. 5 min job.

I broke the door "sill" button link on my rear doors putting the card back on.
