Hello!
Next week we will be touring a bit of England and Scotland... can anyone tell me what the petrol and lpg prices are (roughly) in the UK?
Best wishes,

Hi Remco, diesel is anything from 89.9 to 91.9p per ltr, I heard on the radio this morning that protest are likely to start happening, apparently protest framers have already taken up camp on a roundabout in Chester near an oil re-finery so maybe ore to follow.

Petrol around here is somewhere in the region of 86p / litre. LPG is (I think) around 36-40p / litre.

paid 87.9p this morning in tescos

ok... so petrol is a little bit cheaper and lpg is a lot more expensive... great :(
oh well... that's what you get when you buy a Chevy 8) 8)

Remco - do you pay road tax, or similar, in the Netherlands?
-
Yes... and lots of it!
But that doesn't mean our petrol prices are low!
I think we pay about 5 pence more for a liter petrol...
For my Land Rover 109 V8 (1700 kg) I pay 60 euro's roadtax a month... that is with a petrol engine running on petrol. If I were to put it on LPG I would pay almost twice that amount in roadtax...
My Chevy is a bit less expensive as it's a camper and then you pay only a fourth of the roadtax, so that is about 530 euro's a year for me...
