Title: Smoking NA
Post by: discorich on August 30, 2010, 10:31:15
Hey,

Proberbly been asked many times before but any help would be appriciated. I am just about to get a NA 90 that has a little blue smoke problem, it hasnt been run much for 2 years and i have to put it through a Manx test (more strict than a MOT but not as bad as a SVA), I am a little worryed that the smoke might be a problem. I think i have heard a while back that there is additive that can help with worn engines but not sure and cant remember where i heard it. If anyone has any experiance or advice please let us know.

Cheers

Rich

Is it breathing heavy?
If so could be pistons and rings.

bioderv will help clean things up as will 2 stroke, 1;200 ratio though there are special additives.

Blue smoke, piston rings, black smoke worn injectors.
