Title: 200Tdi coolant bleeding

I replaced the thermostat on my 200Tdi today as it was runing cold all the time. It is now running warmer but Im convinced the temp gauge should be going further than its current position with the needle resting between the 1st & 2nd marks. I have bled the system via the screw in plug at the top of the rad. Is this correct or am I doing it wrong?

There shoud be a bleed at the top of the Thermostat housing too??????

Are both pipes in and out of yer heater matrix hot??

Heater works fine, blows hot & cold air through vents.

On a 200 all you need to do is fill the tank with coolant open the heater vent and run the engine for a while.It will bleed itself
There is no bleed point on the stat housing.
Normal running temp is between quater and half on the guage.
If you are not reading that replace the temp sender unit. You should have one in with a green band around it.
