Title: cant get my scrambler started

got no spark on my scrambler honda cr125
any ideas Ive cheked all the wires and put new plugs in still wont spark

if its got a kill switch check that first

ive disconceted the kill and left it open and also kicked it with it closed still nothing.. ive got the coil and stator plate with coil on it all striped down checking the ohmes with a meter and it all seems fine. you can run power through it all and the omes are more or less by the hynes manual

H.T lead or cap ?? Dont really know much about um, But a thought anyhow :-k

got it going again  :-k very strange... the only thing i did was cut half inch of the ht lead and rescrew the spark plug cap back on and it fired first time it was making good contact befor as I cheked it with the meter... just glad its not my stator plate as for this old 2 smoker its around 100 quid

Id guess hats the difference between basic electrical continuity and HT grade continuity. Id expect meter would show fine even if only 1-2  strands of copper were working, bit that would not be enough for a decent spark. Well done for sorting!
