Anyone know the part numbers for the tiny bulbs that go in the switches either side of the instrument panel? Half of mine no longer light up, with winter closing in I'd like to sort this out.
At least, I hope that's why I'm hearing a "tick" when I turn the heated rear window on but not getting an indicator light!

Stc 1877 Orange
Stc 1878 Green
IIRC approx

Thanks for that - it also looks as though my heated rear window has failed as while one relay is audibly clicking in and out when I press the button the window isn't getting hot! Will have a look when it stops raining all the time.

Check the fuse, that could account for the bulb too.

Yep, it was indeed the fuse and the heated rear window is now working again!. I need to make a note of which other switches aren't lighting up then pull the bulbs out and work out how many of each part I need.
-
And the fuse has gone again!
Clearly I have a loose wire/short somewhere as it seems to object to cold or damp conditions (when you actually need the heated window). Is there a common location for such a fault or do I now have to dodge the rain with a multimeter while tracing the circuit?

the fault could lie where the loom passes from the body to the door, always a favourite place due to the way the loom flexes when the door opens
