Title: 300tdi Vacuum pump leaking oil, pos cause of ABS light coming on?

My Disco 300tdi auto is leaking oil from what Iv been told is the Vacuum pump located on the O/S of the engine about half way up, The ABS light is nearly always on too and the brakes aren't great and only just passed an MOT recently.
Could these problems be caused by the vacuum pump?
Any advice in re-sealing the pump to the engine?

i had oil leaking from mine so replaced pump just to be sure with same gasket and some instant gasket and worked a treat, although its quite a pain to change. as for the abs light i think thats a totally different thing, mine was on constantly so i took it to a landdrover garage he plugged it onto machine (

Wheel bearings can also effect the ABS sensors.

when my vac pump failed it filled the brake servo with oil, it may be worth a look,

if your vac pump isnt giving enough vacume your breaks wont be right ie 1 axel might be out breaking the other wich makes the abs think there is a fault , had this on a lorry years ago
