You could be forgiven for thinking our drive is the local NCP car park at the moment!
Haven't seen the neighbours yet but im sure they may have a few choice words to say
The fiesta is mine, the 307 is my works car, the landy's mine the 406 is dads work car and the corsa is the run-around for the family.
-
Similar situation here,
Discovery; mine
Mondeo; SWMBO's 'works van'
Fabia; 'run-around'
Caddy 535; sold
Missing.
Focus 2; father-on-laws 'works van'

have you got a fuel card with your company card?
if so why do you have your own car too?
dont see the point myself?

Yes, she has, but still has to pay 10p per private mile in the Mondeo.
I know overall it works out far cheaper that way, so the mother-in-law uses the Fabia quite a lot (besides we had the Fabia before she got the job designing Hospitals (well, she did the same in the NHS, but 'went private')
-
We're the same
Dad's Primera (soon to be a Laguna)
Mum's Z3
My 110
Honda Civic for when one of the above goes wrong. Normally the 110
-
You lot are so enviromentally friendly with all your cars

Have a fuel card but people borrow the works car now i do less hours, it lives in the warehouse normaly, i'm working tonight so i took it home to save opning up the wairhouse to get it.
It's going soon anyway as i am leaving the company.
-
reason i say it is that for the people i know in work who have company cars and accompanying fuel cards, they get rid of their own car as they can use their car for personal use too iirc
-
mmmm
that car parking lloks simular to mine
Proton (mums car)
Astra Van (dads)
Disco (mine)
Soon to be appearing company car (also mine)

there seems to be a common theme here... relatives
your listings either make you sound like you still live at home or you live with the in-laws!

Makes no difference to the environment. I can still only drive one at a time.
I've got 7 BTW :) Not all working (or in some cases any where near)

Living at home currently. Property prices around this way well beyond my pocket

The in-laws live with us
I know.......
However, since moving into this house (last May), I've;
cooked twice
washed up less than a dozen times
vacuumed about 3 times
I haven't ironed, been to the supermarket, washed clothes, dusted...
It has its advantages; just think - live in cook, cleaner, baby-sitters, gardeners.
Besides, we have 12 rooms in total in this house (discounting bathrooms/toilets) so there's plenty of breathing space.
Example; I watched all (3 hours) of 'Return Of The King' the other week in the basement without being disturbed - that's how big it is!
Basement;
Snug (mine)
Bar
Family/TV/play room
Utility/boot/garden room
(toilet)
Ground Floor
Kitchen
Back parlour/dining room
Front Parlour (best room, posh visitors only)
Front Hall (entrance vestibule)
Inner hall
Rear Hall
First Floor
4 bedrooms (one is the office - where I am now) (1 with en-suite)
Bathroom
Walk in wardrobes
Second Floor
Bedroom
Bathroom
Walk in wardrobe
Ben Kentzer came up a couple of weeks after we moved in (to collect some bits) & I think he was quite surprised at the size of the place.
These old Victorian houses are massive!

Right, lets not have any of this complaining malarcy, just think yourself lucky you don't live next to me.
We have (at present)
About 7 1/2 MkII Escorts
2 Capris
A Mondeo (lent it to my sister, permenantly)
A Sierra
A Fiesta
A Cavalier
A Micra
The Range Rover (I had another but it got stolen)
My sister's caravan and the Rapier trailer.
Granted some of the Escorts are ready for cutting up, Julie's Capri is at a mate's place, my sister's got the Mondeo and one of the Escorts but the others are arranged carefully on mine and my dad's drive. Oh and next doors, oh and the garden, oh and.......

Is that per year??
We pay nothing at home :D , but I pay about 65p a week to park at work
Typical NHS, give us a pay-rise with one hand & take it back with the other
If I can find a space I think Ive won the lottery!!!
Sounds just like the Hospital (but I have secret places  )

Hmm, a friend of mine recently moved house and panel making/beating business from Sheffield to Worcestershire.
He hired a transporter for the 8 vehicles that could get on it under their own power but aren't road legal, and a wagon for a lot of the heavy machinery. That still left about 20 vehicles in various states to move, I did 3 or 4 runs with the LR and car trailer and I think he lost count how many he did. It all more or less fills a 3500sqft unit though now.
I think altogether there is something like
15 - 20 Morris Minors
3 - 4 Morris Marinas
Morris J type
86" Lr
107" LR
88" S3 LR
Railton Saloon
-
I like your moving style. Nice
Yep £115 a year to park on a road that I already pay road tax for.
Already pay council tax to keep clean
And now I pay again to get a little card thats says "F - Zone" on it
I love this country......

Well I've just bought another Capri. Julie's MkI won't be ready in time for this year's birthday (didn't say which birthday when I promised :) ) so I bought her another.
