Just my two penneth on the subject...
We recently bought a converted railway carriage in Lincs (small holding) still living up here whilst starting to renovate it.... Had just pulled into Tescos in York to meet with father and hand the keys over as he's living down there to look after it when the phone goes.... The fire Brigade Manager from down there to give us the sad news that the place had gone up in the time we had left... Not fully thankfully, but now requiring a new back wall, roof, windows and a lot of TLC... It needed the TLC anyway but that is beside the point... the fire was left as being undetermined as it seems to have started from an empty shed that had no power... One of lifes little mysteries that we will never fully find out... So peeps... word to the wise... Get a smoke alarm and be vigilant not just for your own sake but your neighbours as without them phoning the fire brigade we wouldnt have anything!!! Oh and make sure you also have house insurance as we hadn't transferred it over old house, or rather father hadn't got round it yet... Hey ho....
