nugget4x4:i do think you may have consumed some alcohal based beveredges to come up with that conclusion,a v8 is miles better & when it does get wet n drops a cylinder it still goes unlike a fordy v6  also theres the fact they are miles more powerfull & also dead easy to come across unlike the v6's

I also own 2 V8 Range Rovers and would not do unto Them what I do to my V6 simply because I would have 2 more cylinders to worry about 8)
Respect the V6

If you go on the Steve Parker Website you will see that the V6 torque comes in a lot lower than the V8 therefore if you get stuck WHO YOU GONNA CALL 8)

sorry boys, apart from the sound,it's gotta be a v6(dont talk about power, thrasher has 1 bhp more than me,and a 1000cc more) the v6 runs sweeter and isn't affected by water the same as you v8's. as to dropping a pot? never happened :P
-
but can a v6 run happily for 2k miles with 2 bent rods i ask??? my v8 did & still went round to 6500 na na 8) also did 500 miles with the oil light on & never seized, cant say the same bout a v6
-
Im on my 4th V8 so thats makes mine a V24!!
No, that makes yours a V32

Landyman 1978 is always up to his neck in water therefore not running on all cylinders and so his would be a V24 after being on his 4th engine  8)
