are mud flaps worth the hassle as when ever i go out mud goes every where :o
-
I got shot of mine last week, as long as you dont go smashing peoples windscreens when you have been out to play. and your right that they make no difference when you are out in the mud.
They are also not an MOT requirement.
-
i find they make a differeance but hey,i need them to pass scrutineering for comps n hillrallys, dead handy for when you catch some 1 up N there no throwing stones up at u,also handy for the person behind you on the rope if your pullin them out as otherwise they need good wipers(well i normally find 1/2 ton o mud on there bonnet after ive pulled them out)

They help your Landie mark its territory as when you park everything slides off them
Even better if you've got the 'Clearpass' type, as they gather even more
-
I removed mine a while ago.
(well, to tell the truth a big hole removed 2 of them. I ripped off the other 2)

-
They stop the front panel of the BWSOW getting plastered with muck & mud when towing
-
Ask Gords he planted one of his on the welsh hills round bala last weekend so next year the lane will be blocked by a rubber tree
Didn't think it was possible to run over your own mudflaps :?

Yes fit them
its polite to other road users !
but always fit the right ones, not something tacky from halfords or argos
