*sigh*
Had to change a tyre on the Defender, got two delivered today. So got home from work and set about changing tyres , one needed to go on the spare rim that is on a swing away on the rear door. Imagine surprise when none of my paddlock keys fitted the lock chaining the spare to carrier. Some filthy sly scumbag has attempted to drill the barrel out of the lock so the key no longer fitted properly. I had to get disco cutter out.
Anyway... no problem on driveway but had me thinking whist i was shodding the rims that this scumbags act could have put my life and others in danger if I needed that spare in a remote location. For all I knew the spare was good to go, but I could have been really stuck without being able to get it off. I do hope I do not catch one of these twonks in the act because woooooooah betide.
