Does anyone know if the bulbs for your dash that glow blue etc on ebay ok to replace with your own bulbs. Would it be best to keep to the standard ones for wattage purpose, just incase of burning out loom etc.

I know Phil (Turtle) has fitted the blue bulbs in his 90
He hasn't said anything much about them since fitting
them so I guess there alright....
I'm sure he will pop in and coment.

Howdy Scooby I have indeed as Paul says replaced the bulbs for the blue ones as sold on ebay, look pretty smart :)
Easy to fit as well, the only problem I had was I have a replacement clock in my dash and that takes a different bulb, I have heard that you can buy special paint to cover the bulb, but as yet I haven’t looked for it.
The guy selling them on ebay does a very quick service, also comes with complete install instructions :)

looks like i will be getting myself some then.

They do look nice when fitted :)
I'm trying to find the old post on the same subject in that were a few photos :)

Hi,
If you poke around on ebay you can find some LED ones, they are a nice deep blue and look very good, i have a set myself. Oh and cos they are LEDs they draw less power than bulbs....
