I have a smigin of oil in the pipe leading to the intercooler.
Good? Bad? Doesn't matter?
200TDi with 136,000 on the clock.

mine has this as well in the top hose to the inlet manifold.
told its normal to have traces - and its from the turbo seals

Cheers. Won't worry about it then. Spotted it while changing the water pump.

worth looking into cleaning intercooler if building up.
done mine other day and helped the turbo kick in quicker and pulls a bit better after the cleaning .

true - what did u use?
I also have a few cans of powerboost which make a bit of a difference if any one wants to buy any £15 each - theyre £27 in the shops

work with chemicals all day long so solvents arn't too much of a problem :) few people on other forums talk about carb cleaner and stuff, but expensive and always find it evaporates to quick :wink:
