The 'British Board of Film Classification' has placed a '12' certificate on the new Dr Who video/DVD.
It claims that is shows unacceptable levels of violence toward a Dalek :shock:
Thisis the episode where the collector has a captive one & has one of his employees attempting to drill into it, & also the Doctor taunts it telling it to "Go & Die" :shock:

I should think that every 20/30/40-something that watched them as a kid will have been happy to see one on the receiving end
All together now;
"It's Political Correctness Gone Mad!!!!!"

Is that the only reason they give :shock:
Blimey what ever next.

Oops just noticed the link :oops:
Yes your right, it's a Dalek.
-
They should censor it on that episode for terrible acting... it can be dangerous exposed to high levels of bad acting, look what happens to anybody forced to watch enterprise for prolonged periods.

And yet....
It's fine to show it at 7.00pm at night for all the little kiddies to see. :wink:
Add blood to the Power Ranger (cert PG) fight sequences and that would be an 18 cert' That lot would challenge the level of violence in any Van Dam movie :roll:
Gimme Quentin Tarantino any day, personally I'd rather see the 'real' consquenses of any violence rather than 'pretend' or done simply to make a character look 'cool and hard'
