Title: Jacking Point Size?
Post by: RRC on May 27, 2005, 21:59:53
Hello all,

i am currently making some rock sliders and have forgotten to find out what size the hole is for use as jacking points.

Help would be much appreciated.

hi. i have a 90 with rock sliders on but with no holes... there is a risk of jacking up on the jack point holes and bending the adapter. so i just shove the normal hi lift jack arm under the side of the slider...

I've just stuck my adapter in the vernier callipers and it's 30.2mm diameter.  I assume the .2mm is the paint.  Obviously not a bad idea to err on the side of a few mm too big.
