Title: Repairing my Dashboard
Post by: BurgerKing on May 30, 2005, 11:20:22
Is there anyway that I can repair my dashboard without replacing all of it. It curling up at the back near the wind screen, Some one did tell me that you can get a repair kit for this problem. Does anyone know ??

Cheers

Thats what you need, I would shop around the other suppliers though to try and save money.

hi ive just done mine on a 300 tdi

got the kit from paddocks, cost about £40

easy to do, and mine was pretty bad

one tip though use a cordless drill to wind in the screws, dont pre-drill the holes, just let the new screws find there way in

works a treat

Hi BurgerKing,

noticed the LCD screen nice addition, is it wired in to your stereo?. is it just for TV or have you wired anything eles up to it.

It's a stand 'a' lone lcd tv tuner screen powered by 12v. But you can connect dvd,x-box,ps2 etc up to it. I have played with my ps2 on it. It's Ok.

Have not mastered playing and driving at same time tho  :D LOL

(£100 approx E-bay)
