Well been green laning with Jason, Davidlandy and the others and well my old 2.25 is a waste of time ...................and well I think its going to have a V8 put into it
Lots of questions regarding a V8 conversion
Can it go onto a LT77 5 speed 90 gearbox ,
Will I need to change the diffs and will it stop with a 90's standard braking system
cheers

No, it won't... you will need a suitable gearbox to go with it, or a conversion kit (around 120 quid)
Standard diffs and brakes are fine, although changing the rear axle for discs is nice to do anyway.

I've got a 5 speed LT77 box for a V8 :P

next question for you guys out there .......................
how do i tell the difference between a long stick gear box and a short stick rangie box???????????
-
If it came out of a 5 speed Range Rover V8, then it is the one you want.
The Bellhousing will be about 14-16" long.
