Post by: LOFTY on June 15, 2005, 18:45:22
Hello, need help,
Is it possible to fit 275x65 R18, not typo R18, these are 32" diameter to a classic RR, without hacking arches about :?

assuming no lift... yes... but as soon as you hit a bump the wheels will hit the body work..so no!

Matt is right when you drive down one of those dip's in the road that makes the car sink, they will hit the arch, if you don't want a lift you would have to have very stiff springs. Even then :?  i wouldn't like to say

DOH!
Well, Matt from D44 was round, he said"where are you putting them tyres", when i said perhaps on the rangy, he laughed like a pixie, so will have to swap back for something smaller.
thanks for the comments, should have asked first.
