hi there, how long did it take you to do...........is there anything to watch out for. i see you did the job with the tank in place? i take it that means i dont need to remove it.
sorry for all the questions, i have this job to look forward to very soon.
any advice would be very greatful......

I did my floor last week as well. Took hours to drill out spot welds.
Had to replace two cross members as they had rusted away.
Refitted floor using SS pop rivets, mastic and underseal.
Should last another 10 years with a bit of luck.

I have to congratulate you all for tacking such a job, I would be to scared to screw it up to do that. Oh and I haven't got a drive/garden to do it in. =D> =D> =D> =D>

it took me a good weekend to do but i had to weld up around my rear body mounts aswell the worst bit is finding all the spot welds to drill out and then getting rid of all the c**p, 14 years worth but i used my dads compressor and an air line and blew it out i left my tank in coz its diesel and put an old rug over it while i was repairing, grinding, putting in new cross braces. then i wirebrushed all i could get to painted all the top of the chassis with hammerite, put new floor in spot welded it in and seam sealed around everything i then hammerited the top of the new floor and used the waxoil/undersealer underneath. im glad its done but get every thing you need before the job coz its noisy driving it with no floor and when you hit 60 the mat in the back becomes the magic carpet
