Just started looking for a Timing belt kit. It seems there are a lot of differences in prices some are genuine and some are copys.
How much should i be looking at for a timing belt, tensioner, idier, seals and gasket. and were is best to get them from :?:
I think i would prefer the genuine parts.
Please help.

cliff got his from craddocks and AMD, don't think they were genuine parts but the prices were highly agreeable :D
you'll have to ask him how much but i think he only paid abowt £100 and that included a new crank gear and 8 pushrods!!
told him he shud have changed it earlier ](*,)

Thanks neil i will pm cliff did he have the kit or was it just the belt he needed.

I bought all the 'bits' separately Dave. Basically Neil told me what I should replace and I ordered them from Craddocks.
The only part that was out of stock was the new crank gear (we were replacing this as it was seen to be slightly scored when we replaced front engine oil seals).
I seem to remember that the timing belt, tensioner, idler and gaskets all came to less that £100.00. I also ended up changing the water pump too (on Neils recommendation - see I DO LISTEN now Neil   ) as its was a bit 'rough'.
