Err, what are they for? Why are there 2 holes through the side?

they are hi lift jack mounts for your roof rack

however i would turn them around and have the buckle thing facing upwards

this is so that it looks stronger on that side..
AND
if you unhook it downwards it may fall on you (the jack that is)

but if you unhook it upwards it will sit on the mounts till you remove it

i guess

Only problem I can see is security - how do you stop someone nicking the hi-lift - within reason - I know if someone wants it badly enough they WILL have it regardless!

Scorpion Racing sell them. Seen them on a few trucks here and there.

I've seen these advertised else where. There are not just for high lifts, they can be used for a number of items, spade, axe, awning etc.......

They do look a useful item, just have'nt thought of anything yet that I could use a pair for  :?:

Must admit when I first looked at them, they looked like the clamps under the vehicles for securing pipes down the body, until I realised the scale I was puzzled on the price

It may just be me but I'd want something a bit more substantial to hold a hilift in position.
One heck of an insurance claim if it came adrift.

If I could find a way of fitting a bracket to the roof rack they might do for securing my flag poles

I think the body is nylon or nylatron and the strap is rubber.

So Wizard, are these something you're looking to resell, or make? Or do you already resell/make?

These will be a resell item, if i can get them cheap enough.
The company that markets them have them made 1000 at a time. If i had to make them, they would end up costing a fortune.
