Title: Roof Rack Fitting
Post by: Damonski on June 25, 2005, 21:42:02
Hey up!

Having recently got what is a modified 90 roof rack to fit on a discovery, Im curious as to know how the likes of the Safety Devices, Brownchurch and other large roof racks fit to the guttering.

I would be grateful if someone could snap a few shots side on and looking down the gutter close up style so I can put my mind at rest    (I dont feel quite happy with the current arrangement I have)

Currently mind is sort of sitting in the gutter and being squeezed against  the gutter lip with another L shaped bracket.

Cheers!

It's dark here too, funnily enough, but here's the way Patriot do it:

Heres the current way.  I think its the same, but uses a thinner metal bracket sitting in the gutter.

View is looking down the gutter from the rear to the front.

Is it a candidate for the Shiney Blue Crew yet ?
