hi all can any one tell me about the air preasure build up i get in my disco when i stand next to snorkle and put my hand up to the grill i can feel air comming out  is very confusing i have not lost any power  all hoses are tight and she is running just fine is this normal cos i dont think so but hey i just confussed and cant work it out is there an explanation for this is there somethink im missing but i thought that the engine was to breath air in not blow back out  is not dirty air as far as im aware i have a k&n air filter fitted with a new intercooler and a sports performance exhaust from twisted performance any help/advice welcome thanks all regards colin

you feel this during idle?

are you sure its the air escaping and not being sucked in?

not sure?

dangle a blade of grass or a thin piece of paper next to it and watch its direction.

It's not normal, even on idle you should get a fair suck from the snorkel intake.

ok seems to have been a bloked air filter box full dead beas and wasps took apart was like an insect graveyard anyway gave good clean-out put new k&n in re-sealed with silocone checked all hoses again and used the wire gauge from old filter to make a wire mesh fly/wasp catcher at the entrance to the top of snorkle took for a spin what a difference she breathing soo much better now and checked that blowing problem is now deffently sucking air now im guessing that because the filter was blocked it was building up preasure and just pushing back out snorkle anyway all is well for now!!!! will see
