Last nights was from Blackpool. Sounds like tonights is from Australia.
I've never heard so many content warnings for a programme before. Not just at the start but during the breaks as well.
He was hilarious. Shame hardly any of his jokes can be repeated on here.

well in the late 80's early 90's he was more popular
as was the other blue ones
but i think people have gone more PC and think their jokes arent suitable for today's society
there was a prog the other night about bernard manning on tv.. people say he's not popular any more but he has been going 50 yrs apparently
if you werent any good you wouldnt be going for that long..

saw peter kay in the summer pops festival in liverpool last year
got his live in blackpool dvd and the live in the bolton albert hall one
wife and her family are from bolton and know where the phoenix club building is and the location shots
quite annoying when you are watching it and they bellow out "coo i know where that is!"""
saw jim davidson in southport in october
funny in bits but ive seen him had bad press recently though
makes you wonder who is telling the truth sometimes...

Rik Mayall and Ade Edmundson (spooling) were in Nottingham recently and they were absolutely excellent.
With Peter Kaye and Ricky Gervais amongst all the others we certainly have a wealth of talent.
I can't understand how the Americans understood RG's humour allowing him to nick the award from under their homegrown boy's noses.

i thought americans didnt get sarcasm?
or dry humour especially the lack of visual comedy in the program..
americans like to have an audience watching and laugh at opportune moments so the tv watching audience knows when something funny happens.

Another one of our fav's is/or was Red Dwarf
And also Gimmie Gimmie pee my self laughing watching the re runs on sky of that one
And not forgetting Only Fools and Horses, brilliant :D
The only US comedy series I can really name is Fraiser, never really got into it though, they nicked Ab Fab as well which went down a storm over there.

It's funny, I can't abide Mr Vasey, but I've absolutely adored Edmondson & Mayall all the way through the years,
Kevin Turvey
Dangerous Brothers
Comic Strip
Young Ones
Bottom (my favourite)
I've seen 3 of the Bottom stage shows and still can't figure out how they actually miss each other with the frying pans/cricket bats, etc...
The new series that Edmondson is in; 'Doctors & Nurses' (Tuesday BBC1 @ 22:30) is damn funny, as I can recognise the charactors as they could be some of our staff.
