I'm 99% certain mine came from him, they are untested but are well made and very, very heavy so I'm expecting them to take the trucks weight without problems.

Yep, just checked, mine are from him.  Untested as i say but i fail to see how they could be any heavier made, you wouldn't be able to carry them!

I added above as dont want to drop MC in the poo.
Basicly I wouldnt want to take the chance of having someone post a less than complimentary coment about an item that can not be responded to be the seller.
If the items do prove to be rubbish then I would feed this back in the forums.
But its like the fact that I can not mention a 4x4 dealers who I recently had ongoing trouble with and eventualy had to go as far as starting a court claim against them. Because the claim was setled out of court I can not post there company name etc as could be classed as defimation and not only would MC be held liable but I would be open to being sued as well.

You may be lucky to get it for £20 but looking at the past sales only one has gone for that price.
All the rest have gone for between 20 and 30 pounds except one that went for £42  :shock:
Also just remember the £12 p&p to be added.

Can't comment on those ones but I got a set from someone else on the same auction site, 38mm the same, they work well but as with all waffles you have to accept they won't last for long if used over rocks! having said that they performed well over the rock section at Tixover last weekend with my mates 90

I've got a set, very handy, £42 all in :D  bargin.

Got a couple of sets, a short set for the lightweight, works well, and yes they will chew a bit on rocks, but wear and tear is what you get

Another set longer I got was mainly for loading and unloading out of the back of the motor the wifes electric runabout, but can double for use with the disco as well, these are thicker and longer, but look strong enough to do the job

I got a set of the 50mm thick ones about a year ago off eBay and I think I paid about £32 + postage for them on a second chance offer after I bid on about 6 sets.

As there are always plenty on there just pick the price you want to pay and keep bidding. You'll get a set at the right price in the end.

got mine from same said seller, i've had no probs with them and i've used them no end of times for various things, just watch the textured side though its a bit nasty on bare knuckles  :D

He has said that he supplied a lot to them, so they would be I suppose.

I bought a pair of 38mm thick ones off ebay and it was money very well spent. I'm not sure if I'd want to try and lift a pair of 50mm thick ones when they've been used in clay though. The ones I have are a struggle when they're full of mud!!

I bought a pair of these off the very same chap, only got them about a month ago so haven't been used in anger yet, mores the pity. Though I was down the beach the other day and as ther was no wind and a handy concrete lip by the carpark, I decided I'd weight test them. Took the weight of my 110 no prob.
Service from this guy was also good, arrived two days after I paid for them, all in all well chuffed. Now I just need to find something off road which I need to bridge.  :lol:

i have bought a set of 38mm ones and driven over them at 20 miles per hour


i have had them 6 months and used and abused them in the mud

as for bridging ladders i cannot comment as i havnt had cause to do that yet

but i will not hesitate

I've had a set from this guy I think, I know I've bid before now anyway.  They are ok but you get what you pay for, I'm not too keen on the way they bend if you're bridging a gap.  Ramps they are not.  That said on soft poo they are good, if you use them before you sink.  When Turtle and I got stuck they proved most useful as a Hi-Lift base, you cannpt climb out of a hole on them.  I've bought 3 sets now as it's cheaper than one set of the 50mm type, which have a different surface anyway.

Put it like this, if you thought twice and decided not to, at that price, you'll kick yourself one day..........

ladders arrived today after slight problem with courrier service the seller uses
very impressed with service from seller and good quality product
thanks to everyone who gave possative responces for the seller

Now then just need to find somewhere to mount them .....
