Well before I joined MC I was told its was very Landy dominated, now I have had a good look around MC forums I see that sadly it is. Oh well, maybe they should think of changing the club name to somthing with landy in the title
Laters Jeepsters, Im off

It is LR dominated by virtue of the fact that a lot of the members own LRs  :?

If a few more Jeep owners stuck around for a while, then maybe it wouldn't be  :?:

Im still here Tim!:D  Although It seems I been demoted from ensign to cadet for some reason!

Basicaly there are more Landys about then there are Jeeps, its just the way it is. Im sure if we were in the USA it would be different. Aint no malice in it dude, its just numbers thats all. I dont know anouther person on MC who runs a Grand Cherokee, infact I have never even seen anouther one off road so that makes me a true minority in MC, but it aint a problem. Yea there are MC landys about who wont even talk to a Jeep, but on the whole there all alright! I helped put a gearbox in an MC 110 yesterday, and the 110 owner helped me with my bumper! Cheers Nigel and Phil.

Does that make me a trator to Jeep?
I think not, its just numbers dude, get over it!

Nothing personal... the system automatically 'prunes' old posts from various parts of the forum, and since the ranks are based on post-counts.... 'ranks may go down as well as up'  ;-)

Hey Owen, did it occur to you that you may have been demoted because you are a Jeep?  After all, the admins are Landys!
Think about it!

Hey Trooper 30 you should stick around go to some events ,there might be a few Landies but they are a friendly bunch with one thing in common, going out to off-road . I've been out with them a few times in my Jeep when I had it and with the Suzuki I have now ,I've always had a great time.

BTW where are you from ?

As one who has had a few Land Rovers and now owns a Jeep Cherokee, I can understand what you guys are saying.  There's a thread on here about "Is the Land Rover Wave a Thing of the Past?"  So, why don't all us Jeep owner/drivers start waving at each other?
Since hubby (Tazman of Discovery ownership) has been GLASS rep for West Glos, we've had several meetings and made good friends with chaps who DO NOT own a Land Rover.
Regular green lane outings include: a Land Cruiser, a P38, a Jeep (mine), a 110, 2 x Suzukis, a Light Weight, a Bowler and a Discovery.  And we get into all sorts of discussions about our vehicles.
Sometimes it does appear that Land Rovers rule the world but remember, which vehicle came first  \:D/
I should look at changing my CB call sign. It's ladyfreebie at the mo - any suggestions (clean ones only please)? :D
