Some of you would love this!!
I delivered 1.5million pounds worth of servers on friday!!
Here's all of it in its new home.
14 server cab's
16 pallets of internals for the cab's.

(i can see Tim and Daz now, licking the screen  :lol: )

pah thats nothing

i had to relocate our netapp kit (600k worth) from one location to another

AND it was commissioned, AND i only had a few hours to do it

talk about twitching!

That's what 'THEY' keep telling you.  :wink:

You would be surprised at how much of a battering they can take.
The only dangerous bit is when you write to disk and hit a bump - the head can scratch it and you lose a sector or two.
We have a full working PC in our machines and we drive them down the side of mountains.

My puters travel between Devon and London slung in the back of my Landy quite often! and as you see with no ill effects!! :oops:

Hmmm, if thats the HP bladeserver system, the some of the prototypes for that got carted around Scotland in the back of my disco going between the various regulatory test facilities. Ok, not much off-road between the office and Fife but they didn't even get packed in cardboard boxes  :)
