Still not down yet.....
« on: August 28, 2005, 09:20:45 »
From Malvern yesterday  :D

Ended up just me, the boys and their Godfathers Dad who went.

Did spend far too much money and wish it had all gone on the off-road but ho-hum.

DId the course at Malvern with the extreme bits.

DOn't know why but each time I have gone off-roading the marshalls have tried to talk me out of it before I have started  :?

Yesterday they tried to tell me that the Range was not going to cope and I would have been better in my Freelander :?  Then they radioed round to let everyone know I was on my way and to keepo an eye out :?

ANyway, I did it and it was the best off-road I have done to date. Did the extreme bits and loved it. Did my first proper water splashes and am very proud to have a mud covered vehicle, just hope hubby doesn't want to wash it  :(

Wish could go back again today but money doesn't allow :(  and it's only about 30minutes away as well  :(

Oh well at least I am more confident about what I can do now and I did have loads of fun :D  :D  :D  :D

Nice one Mary!
Sounds like you had a blast  :D
The marshalls at events are the same with SWMBO.
Always there to 'advise', usually when its a really tame bit too!
Nice to show them that the girls can drive of road too.

SWMBO used to drive my mates 101FC   (plus my Light-Weight, 90 & 110)

Bet she wouldn't drive the FC now?
