Hope everyone was ok

First I've heard of the issue with macho's  :(
I'm currently running a set on the 90 (less than 2 months old) so will keep an eye on this

Was it speed related or did they catch on a rock or something?
Have used mine off road and have so far been impressed with performance for cost etc
keep us posted with outcome

Come to think my Macho's have small splits in the sides and the edge looks a bit dosgy where it meets the rim too, that's why I keep them for mudding and have a set of road tyres.  Remoulds you see.........

Rang  C tyres  this morning told them the problem with split in side wall, reaction-send us a pic of damaged tyre  we will send out a replacement today  -..   after their tecnical dept have inspected pics they will let me know the outcome what they can deduce from a pic i dont know ,  i think it is a dodgy carcass - all the rest are fine  , well happy with performance too .  for anyone running machos  check the raised rib by the tyres edge.

The fact they are remoulds has nothing to do with it.
They have to go through the same tests as any other tyre. And infact more normal tyres fail each year than remoulds.

Also remember that the Machos dont have a particularily 'fast' speed rating either (M - rated i think, whatever that equates to)

The Technic Amazon tyre doesnt seem to suffer the same way but they have a high enough speed rating (s-rated) to be legal on a Discovery on the road.

The Macho-s  are rated to  87 mph ,when you drive a zuk  speed rateing is the last attribute you look for , macho-s are all about MUD thats where they exel!

I know but if your Zuk is 'capable' of 87+ mph then they are not legal(on the road). Just be careful dude
