Where to get an iPod

You can dismantle the connector and it uses a standard power connector of the jack-plug type, so yes, this would be relatively easy.  I've considered it myself, but I like the portability, also it doesn't advertise that I may have an iPod in the car because I can unplug it!

Thanks,

A Podgear one is now top of the shopping list, unless someone suggest a cheap hardwired setup that will not disable the CD player.

They would have to suggest it soon though, I can feel my credit card vibrating in my pocket already (desperate to spend).

What stereo have you got fitted at the moment?
Many have an aux input but just need a lead

I knew that question would come soon

I have a JVC that came with it (with no instructions!), I downloaded some instructions from the internet and I can only see connections on the back for the CD changer, I haven't taken it out yet to check.

Must take it out and have a proper look, now, where is my crowbar....

Tim.

P.S.

How come car theives can break in to your car and steal your stereo in 20 seconds and yet with the right tools it takes the owner 10 minutes?

I just ordered one of the new Ipod nano's,  4gb and thinner than a pencil

I have put it off for ages as I was thinking of getting a PSP for games, music and video.  But, recent experience has taught me if you want something to play music on, get a music player, something for video, get a video player etc.  If you want all 3, then get 3 seperate devices that do their own job allot better

I just knew that if I bought one, then either there would be a huge price drop, or a newer (and better) model would come out....

Or both

Typical!

Well, it's true that Apple will release newer and better models every few months, but mine is nearly 2 years old, and I have no intention of replacing it because it's bloody good already!
