I've found a crack in the rear shock casing just over half and ich long, can't afford to replace till end of sept and have a few off road trips to do in the meantime, shall I do them or just keep her on the road.

I know a guy down in middlesbrough who breaks land rovers only.
If you cant aford new may be worth giving him a bell to get second hand part as temp fix.

Also look in local yellow pages for Tanfield4X4.Agai another 4x4 breakers.
Ive been there a couple of times and always seems to have a couple of disco's in being broken up
Cant say I've had any experiance of buying from them but maybe better than trip to smog city

If the crack is in the outer cover (top part) that hides the piston then it won't make any difference to the shocker. Only if its the main casing (bottom part) will it be a problem.  :wink:

It's in the top outer casing. Will probably upgrade the shocks soon
