Major problem with vit

Took wee beastie out for a shakdown yesterday and discoverd a major problem, the front  wheels don't drive!! The prop seems to be turned by the transfer box, it has fwh on and they are hard to turn, need pliers, where do I start looking?? :cry:

Jack the front wheels up one at a time.  With the freewheeling hubs locked, turning the wheel should turn the front propshaft.  If it doesn't, there is a good chance the hub is dead.

Failing that it could be the front diff or a driveshaft... but if the FW hubs are being a pain, that would be the most likely candidate.

sticking FW hubs are fairly common, wip them off, clean and regrease with light grease, should be fine.
