Well I have owned my Discovery for about 4 weeks now and I love it . I have always wanted a Land Rover for work but a 90 was just too small and a 110 a bit big . I had always thought that a 300 tdi disco was out of my price range but this one came up and I had to have it . It is a dream to drive just as comfortable as my RR and although not as powerful as the V8 there is plenty of power where you need it most low down for towing. I wish I had got one years ago .
When all the oil has drained out the leak stops.

If it's done a few miles then try cleaning the intercooler, it might give it a bit more go.  Otherwisw you could try an Alisport one for a real improvement.

Also, take/blank off the EGR valve. Doesn't give lots more power but (in my case) makes it better at the bottom end.

There is an easy tweak to the fuel pump that helps too - see here about half way down the page.
